Here are examples of the six characteristics of Interactivity-

Control

Ebay
http://www.ebay.com/

Ebay is an example of control because the user is able to look at almost anything he wants and can change how that information is presented by modifying the search engine.

Feedback

YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/?gl=ES&hl=es

The view counter and star rating that every user can affect and every poster craves makes YouTube completely based on Feedback. Plus, since the site keeps track of the uploads that are veiwed the most, other viewers are more inclined to view the said upload because it seems popular.

Productivity

Movie Tickets
http://www.movietickets.com/

This website has information you where the theater is, what showtimes it has, which are popular and enables you to buy tickets to them; it is productive because of all the tools it has in one place.

Creativity

Webkinz

http://www.webkinz.com/us_en/

Here kids can create their own invidual houses in their own indiviual world. The child creates his own experience.

Adaptivity

Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/

Amazon adapts to each object that you view, telling you what others have bought after viewing the same object. The site even recommends products based upon objects that you have bought or searched for.

Communications

Facebook

http://www.facebook.com/

This site has it all when it comes to commincations- messages, chat and posts. It is the most realistic method of communication ever invented and has already began to affect our own culture with its synthetic tendencies.
